Chandro Tomar, Sniper World's Oldest

Chandro Tomar, 78-year-old woman appears as a grandmother who is different from the other grandmother. Tomar is believed to be the oldest female snipers in the world.Tomar has won 25 national shooting championships in India, even though she is a mother of six children and grandmother of 15 grandchildren. Tomar excellence in the shooting also makes it managed to beat a police officer in India.

"I wanted to do something useful in my life, and show my skills in front of people. When I fired my first gun, I terkekut and now, I've shown many people that age is not an obstacle for everyone to do so anything, "Tomar said, as quoted by the Daily Mail, Friday (23/03/2012).

Nearly 10 years ago, Tomar took his grandson to the shooting range located in the village of Johri, Uttar Pradesh. Tomar want to learn new shooting techniques, but Tomar shy to go alone to the shooting range.

Women aged 78 was immediately greeted by a group of shooters at the firing range.

"A coach saw me and marveled at my ability in terms of targeting. He also asked me to return to practice at the firing range and I was interested," he added.

Coach of the firing squad, Farooq Pathan, said he was quite surprised when I saw Tomar. Pathan said Tomar as a shooter with a high ability, hands swiftly, and have sharp eyesight.

Tomar daughter, Seema, is also a woman who could get the Shooting World Champion medals. Seema capable of shooting with an assault rifle and pistol.
